ABOUT propel networking

Propel Networking is for young (20s & 30s) business owners and professionals in the the Bay of Plenty who are looking to expand their business network.

What to expect at a meeting

  • New business/member introductions

  • A chance to speak about your business, any upcoming events, help needed etc

  • Topic of the week/month discussions e.g Social media to grow your business, what keeps you up at night?

  • Time to mingle with other networkers

  • You will also be offered a change to present on a topic that you are passionate about or can offer help in e.g Business development, growing your social media following etc

Cool things that happen when you join one of your networking groups....

**You meet some pretty exceptional young business owners who have been through exactly the same struggles/pull your hair out moments that you have - don't worry you're not the only one who lays awake at 3am thinking "what the hell have I done?!"

**So you are no good at marketing but your a business development genius... fantastic Young Guns is a place where you can share your skills and vice versa

**You can join our mentoring programme - get mentored by a older/wiser/been in business longer Young Guns Business mentor - and the best bit... its free!

**We don't role play (yuck!) or force you to stand up and talk about yourself or business (although we highly recommend it). What we do do is create a space that allows organic conversation and connection with like minded people.

Emma Reynolds - founder - passionate about developing meaningful connections & lifelong relationships

Propel Networking was started by Emma Reynolds (co-founder of Two Birds Recruitment). Emma is passionate about connecting with like minded business owners and young professionals. Emma has recently returned from living in Australia for 7 years and found the Tauranga business landscape had evolved dramatically in the time she was away, this lead her to create Propel as a way to learn more about local business', connect with other professionals and develop a young & vibrant approach to networking.

Emma is also an advocate for professional and personal mentoring. Propel Networking provides a mentorship program to all its current members.
